Truecaller's commitment to the EU Digital Services Act

The European Union's Digital Services Act (the “DSA”) regulates online intermediaries, platforms and search engines to prevent illegal and harmful activities online and the spread of disinformation in the European Union.  

Truecaller is the leading global platform for verifying contacts and blocking unwanted communication. We enable safe and relevant conversations between people and make it efficient for businesses to connect with consumers. The online safety of our users is at the core of everything we do at Truecaller and we are fully supportive of the goals outlined in the DSA.

True Software Scandinavia AB (“Truecaller”) – the provider of Truecaller’s services in the European Union, Norway, Switzerland, Iceland, Liechtenstein and the UK (“EU”) – operates a number of intermediary services that may fall within scope of the DSA. Therefore, Truecaller publishes this information to help Truecaller users and authorities within the EU communicate with Truecaller as stated under Article 11 and Article 12 of the DSA.

Relevant national judicial or administrative authorities can reach out to the Truecaller´s point of contact for the purposes of the DSA directly via dsa@truecaller.com. English or Swedish is the preferred language for communication with this point of contact. Please feel free to reach out in either language. This point of contact is reserved for engagement with the authorities listed above in connection with matters related to the DSA. Please note that inquiries related to other matters will not be processed through this channel.
