A Bit Scary

I just want to say upfront. I do not owe anyone money and have never heard from any court for any reason. I got several calls over a few days time. The woman who calls gives her name and says she is with the local municipal court. Says she has been trying to reach me because the court has allowed them to file for a delinquent debt. She started to ask me questions but I told her I want to know which court she works for. I asked for the file and docket numbers. She said it was confidential. I hung up without giving any answers. Did a search for the company eh said she worked for. Couldn't find it. Same when I looked up the woman who calls called me. Called police department and they told me it is indeed a scam. It's a very successful one.
