A call from ABSA
I just got a call from ABSA saying that they need my id number and my account password because there was apparently someone trying to log in but I did not give it to them and told them their manager must call me to confirm if that was true. Then they dropped after I said that. Was that a scam or not?

Yes, it was definitely a scam. A bank might ask you for your Id number to confirm they're working to the correct person, but never ever will they all for account numbers or passwords. Well done on not giving them any info. If they do call again. Tell them you'll go to your nearest bank branch to find out what the issue is.
