abuse by loan recovery agent from bank of baroda
I recently had a very unpleasant experience involving recovery calls regarding my brother's overdue credit card bill. The callers contacted both me and my mother and used abusive and disrespectful language during the conversation. I would like to understand whether it is ethical or legally permissible for recovery agents to contact family members and subject them to verbal abuse for a debt that belongs to someone else. Instead of harassing relatives, shouldn't the recovery process be directed toward the actual cardholder through appropriate and lawful channels? I am seeking clarification on whether such behavior is acceptable and what actions can be taken in such situations.

1. Save all abusive text messages and record phone calls whenever possible. Note the date, time, and the agent's phone number or name, as these serve as vital evidence for your complaint. 2. Immediately contact your credit card issuer's Grievance Redressal Officer or Nodal Officer. Provide your evidence and request that the recovery agency be penalized or your account assigned to a different agent. 3. If the bank fails to resolve your complaint within 30 days, or if you are unsatisfied with their response, file a formal grievance through the RBI Complaint Management System (CMS). 4. If the agent makes physical threats, uses severely threatening language, or shows up at your home and refuses to leave, you can file a Non-Cognizable Report (NCR) or a First Information Report (FIR) at your local police station for criminal intimidation.

Brother, look, nothing is happening, just ignore the call. Pay when you have money. Or if the bank or any recovery person comes, ask him for a DRA license and visit letter, if you are not okay, then if someone talks, then go to the nearest police station and complain. The more you run or people will rate you, the more you keep a recording of every call inca. I am telling you the rest of my experience. Nothing is happening, I myself am a default for 8 months, but I am giving ANS to everyone, I 😂😂🤣🤣🤣have become accustomed to it, so brother, relax.
