Is this considered a scam?

I bought a Novilla mattress for 250,000 IDR. After I sent my personal data and made the transfer, the next morning I was called by the customs office because the item I ordered did not have a permit and was suspected to be an illegal purchase, which could make me a suspect. For the issuance of the permit, a fee of around 8 million IDR is charged. I contacted the store, and they said they would pay the fee and suggested that I request it from the customs office but handle it in a family manner.
