Collection from non existent company for non existent company

I received a call this morning regarding a debt from October 2018. the company name provided that the bill is owed to does not come up online, nor does the name and phone number of the collection agency "AR recovery". When my rep tried to call, it came back with a recording saying the number was not valid. she tried three times. when I called back earlier, they pulled me up immediately by my phone number, said they had my current and previous address as well as a copy of my ID and date of birth. I do not provide those things unless it is for medical care and I verified it is not for an outstanding bill. I believe that this is a scam with a spoof number and I'm looking for any type of verification or info that anyone else has
