Could someone be using my number??
I got an sms from burger king with an otp for the app. I have never even been 30 feet near a burger king. This was to my first (jio) sim number. I have gotten a call from them a month ago saying they'll deactivate my number and give it to someone else if didn't recharge then and I did recharge the same day. The recharge is still active. I still use this number. What on earth can I do? No site is reliable for things like this in india. What help do I seek? Am I screwed? Who the hell even uses an app for burger king?

it must be a scam / fraud, don't think too much , and don't interact with the msg at all , block and move on , cause if you've never gotten service from burgerking , then why would they even reach out ? ( and it's a creepy way to reach out as well ) .
