delivery courier financial fraud [PHONE]
They will tell you that they are from the address verification department and that they have your tracking number. They will say that your address was missed from your parcel and then you will have to verify it. For that, they will message you on WhatsApp from a different number and ask you to download an app. As soon as you do that, your phone will be hacked. Whatever you do on that app is already being recorded. There is an option to pay 5 rupees, but the payment fails. Then they ask for your bank details or ask you to pay by card. Even if you enter your UPI PIN, they log in somewhere. You receive OTPs but don't realize anything is wrong. Your phone gets hacked and money gets deducted. This happened to me with a delivery courier when I was sending documents.
