​A scammer called me today claiming to be from the Directorate of Education. He even knew my brother Hamim’s name and tried to build trust by talking about his stipend. ​At first, I was a bit taken aback. But then he asked me to calculate (2026 × my bKash PIN) and tell him the answer—and the trap was obvious! Knowing it was a scam, I decided to play along and pranked him right back! (Good thing I checked, because I actually had a decent amount of money in my account!) ​Moral of the story: Never share your personal information or send money to anyone, even if they know personal details about your family, without double-checking through official channels first.
