TRAVEL SCAMS

On one occasion, I was called by two companies, Gana Vacaciones and World Class Travel, which invited me to a supposed barbecue where I was going to learn about a benefit and receive some gifts just for attending. But as a main requirement, they asked me to bring my ID card and credit card. Obviously, I did not go because I called the bank to find out if they sponsored it or if it was allowed, but they told me NO, that these are fraudulent methods to trap you into an unwanted and useless vacation package because reservations are never available. So I recommend not attending any of these supposed events held at Parrillas del Sol and Parrillada Cajape Urdesa, which are located in Guayaquil, Ecuador.
