Scam with Cyber AttackEstafa con Ataque cibernetico
They called me on Wednesday, October 21, from Dainer Club, and the call showed up on my phone as Diners Club, offering me a credit card in dollars. They asked for my name and address, and said they would deliver the card to my home the next day. Then they gave me a link to download an app called Diner Plus, which they said was safer than the one on Google Play. I clicked it, and it automatically started downloading a program that activated itself. Then the screen went black and my device started overheating. Terrified that I was under a cyber attack, I removed the SIM card, wrapped the device in aluminum foil, and put it in the freezer. I immediately called my banks to block the apps and my cards. Two of the banks told me there had been a transaction that day for a service payment of 695 soles, and at CMR there was also a service payment of 1700 soles. After 3 hours, I took my phone out of the freezer, and it had no charge at all. I charged it, and when I turned it on, it booted up in factory mode, erasing all the information on my phone. The next day, I went to file a complaint at the police station, and with that complaint, I went to the two banks. I have no proof except the complaint that I suffered this cyber attack and was scammed out of money from my cards. One bank has already refused to acknowledge the scam that was done to me. My recommendation: do not receive or open links, install a spam call blocker for unknown and foreign numbers. Only answer calls from numbers saved in your contacts. Thank you, I hope this experience of the attack I suffered can help you avoid being caught off guard.

My question is how did you accept all that without verifying it first? Also, it's clear that the apps are fraudulent if you don't download them through the Play Store.
