My parents were scammed

I hereby expose a scam situation of which my parents were victims during the alleged purchase of a truck. The seller, allegedly from Socopó, Barinas state, agreed to deliver the vehicle in Caracas and traveled at night. During the journey, he began to allege false emergencies – such as accidents and alleged police arrests – to manipulate my parents and demand money from them under the excuse of being able to continue the trip, requesting that the deposits be made to accounts of third parties identified as "their children". After having obtained the amounts demanded, the subject cut off all communication, deleted the conversations and blocked contact, disappearing completely without handing over the vehicle. There is the respective evidence of everything that happened (payment vouchers and chat backups), which are incorporated in the formal complaint already filed.
