Fake Gift Card Scam

I received an urgent message from someone pretending to be my company's manager. They asked me to purchase two gift cards worth ₹2,500 each as a surprise gift. Believing the request was genuine, I bought the gift cards immediately and shared the details. Within a few minutes, the gift cards were redeemed by the scammer. I have already reported the incident to the cyber crime portal and hope my money can be recovered.
