scam

I used to receive about 25 calls a day, I would call back but the numbers didn't exist. Now I receive calls, I answer and tell the person they called me, but they deny it outright. Besides that, the operator sends me a protocol that I didn't request.

They don't even call back. Many people have their SIM cards cloned and don't even know it. Most of the calls are from VoIP numbers that get renewed. Scammers use SIM farms managed by VoIP software that generate virtual numbers from any carrier. There's also the risk of being connected to a scammer agent who needs a few seconds of your voice sample to feed into an AI that only requires that sample. The scammers then write a text for the AI to record in your voice and send it to your WhatsApp contacts asking for money or offering something to sell at a very low price. Then you get screwed.

These numbers even have WhatsApp; you send a message saying you didn't call and don't know them.
