  The main reason things like these take place is rooted foundationally into compliance out of fear and blackmail. Realistically speaking, the second you listen to what the scammer asks you to do, you've already lost. Because it becomes a never ending cycle. You need to train yourself to be invulnerable to situations like these while ensuring that if something like this does happen, you reach out to everyone close in your life and your very important contracts and warn then beforehand about the situation at hand. That, and a report to cyber crime even if they don't do a whole lot helps and honestly, suffices. I really hope you're alright and didn't fall for this. It would be a terrible place to be in.
