  As soon as you answer the phone and realize it's a scam call, immediately tell them this... I am not interested. Stop calling. Take me off your call list. I've done it, and it helps. If they continue to call, just block them

  First sign up for the Do Not Call list. Wait about six weeks and if they keep calling report all of the phone numbers to the FCC and you should block all of the number. You can use the app Truecaller to handle the number blocking and text scanning. You should also have anti-virus software on your phone.

  just block everyone that's not in your contact list. texts might come thru, just report them, they will be blocked as well.

  do not call list, sign up for scam protection from your cell provider and mainly, in your phone settings or true caller, turn on "Block all Unknown Numbers", or "Block Numbers Not in Phonebook." This way your carrier and signal will Block ALL Unknown numbers and alt numbers too.
