Medicare spam

Your account has recently been flagged by (insert state) Medicare. Do you have Medicare parts A and B? I'm not old enough for this, but I do have Medicare A due to my disability. How do I get these spam calls to stop?

I handle compliance regulstion for a living, and can confirm these are scam calls! Medicare will virtually NEVER call you personally. They communicate through the mail unless you call them! Additionally, friendly advice- insurance providers from any platform are required to disclose 2 critical disclaimers at the very beginning of every call that they make connection on- scammed seldom know this or expect YOU to know this. So if an agent isn't driving you bonkers with a bunch of robotic sounding legal mumbo jumbo at the beginning of your call, they're probably not really an agent! πŸ˜‰

I get about 6 of these calls a day! They use my area code so I answer it. I've asked them to take me off their calling list and it got worse! That's the reason I have this app now. Fingers crossed...

FLAG within true caller. Change the provided CALLER ID INFO to something like "SPAM; Other; Provider name; short title of call & SAVE. In the FUTURE DO NOT answer unknown or unidentified calls, regardless of name & phone # displayed. Answering only VALIDATES a live #. If important, caller will leave a msg. ELSE FLAG as SPAM.
