okay so I recently have been hired to m e r i q and have been contacted by a m e r i q compliance for going to stores and evaluating their employees and the way they sell their gift cards and do a small log of the way they've sold things the gift cards their behaviors and if they're in compliance with the fraud guidelines I was curious if anybody knows if this is legit

thank you, yes that's the name of the company and it's just going into retail stores to evaluate their compliance. and reporting back to the questions that they assigned to me in detail via email and through their website

Possibly if they give you a company branded card or cash or gift card to buy things with, they want you to use a card that has some strange names on it, then it's a scam.

i reported to better business bureau and it is a SCAM

so long they're not having you buy things. It's probably not a scam.
