Motor Repairing Fraud

*Fraud Alert – Pride Vatika* Sharing my recent experience to help others stay cautious. Please be careful while dealing with “Shakthi Motor Works – Harapanahalli” for water motor pump repairs. A couple of days ago, my sump motor stopped working. After inspection, the technician claimed the motor was completely damaged and needed rewinding, costing around ₹4,000–₹4,500. I decided it would be better to buy a new one and asked him to return the motor. However, he refused to return it initially, saying he would scrap it. I later got it checked by another repair expert, who found that all the copper winding and internal parts had already been removed from the motor. He also confirmed that if the coil was intact, the repair would have cost only around ₹2,500. When questioned, the technician gave excuses saying the shop workers might have removed the parts. It was very evident and clear that he was well aware about it. It went a bit long 😊 Just sharing this experience so others can stay alert from these types of fraudsters.
