I would like to tell a fraud related furniture , Pawan Furniture (GST No. 07NKUPS8038F1Z5), located at Mubarakpur Dabas, Delhi. The contact numbers provided by the proprietor are [PHONE] and [PHONE]. On 14 March, we hired Pawan Furniture for the manufacture and delivery of a sofa and a bed. We paid an advance amount of ₹10,000. The proprietor assured us that the sofa and bed would be delivered by 31 March. However, when we started following up regarding the delivery, both contact numbers were switched off, and the WhatsApp account associated with these numbers was also unavailable. We made several attempts to contact him but received no response. Thereafter, we visited the factory address provided by him at Mubarakpur Dabas. We found that the factory was closed, and there was no one present to provide any information regarding the business or our order. After continuous follow-up efforts, one of the phone numbers became active. When we contacted him, he replied through WhatsApp stating that his mother had passed away and that he was suffering from depression, due to which all his devices had been switched off. He further promised that he would call us later that night after reaching his place. However, he never called back and changed his WhatsApp number on the very same day. Till date, he has neither delivered the sofa and bed nor refunded our advance payment of ₹10,000. His actions indicate deliberate cheating and fraud. We believe that this may be part of an ongoing fraudulent activity targeting customers in Delhi
