Scam Alert: Impersonating a Landlord, Requests Money
I received a call from [PHONE] from someone claiming to be my landlord. The caller asked me to send him money, saying he needed to send it to his son who was at school. When I questioned him, he insisted that I should recognize him and even said, "Have you forgotten me? I'm your landlord." I knew this wasn't true because my actual landlord lives in the same compound as me, and I had already paid my rent. The caller continued pressuring me to send money in advance, so I ended the call. Please be careful if you receive a call from this number. If someone unexpectedly claims to be your landlord or someone you know and asks for money, verify their identity through a trusted phone number before sending any money.
