DownloadScamers using app to change there number.
I get over 100 scam calls a day! for the past 2 yrs Now the scamers use a app to change there number to look like regular cell phone numbers! I've had my number for over 25 years! to several of my business. So I had to purchase a new phone just for personal use. I'm tired!

Well, I know this isn't the website that they use, but I'm sure it's something similar. You're able to go to *** and prank call people and whenever you do so, it allows you to choose what phone number that the prank call is coming from. You're able to make it look like the phone call is coming from your own damned phone number if you choose. Now, just imagine... I could definitely be one Hell of a scam artist if I chose to be. I have had several friends' phones that I have worked on, or shown them how to use their phones much more intelligently by using QuickSupport/TeamViewer on Android phones. I have the person that I am helping out install the TeamViewer side of it, and once they have all of it's permission correct, I'm able to open TeamViewer, and have the person who's phone I'm contacting to give me the 6 digit code that comes with opening it up. They must things that code and allow my connection prior to me being able to do anything via the remote connection though. I refuse to steal or do any kinds of scandalous activity because I've had it attempted to me and my immediate family over and over again tho. I refuse to let this kinda thing to break me at my core though. I'm still able to show that I am genuine about everything I say and to prove it within 5-10 minutes.

it caused me to close my business . so your saying with an app . they dont need to alter their phone or Sim. and the app disguises their real number and makes it appear as a valid different number . theres no call id app or anything that can detect your being contacted by a altered number ? thats what I thought I got this app for . that you showed up on .

spoofing is common, lots of data breaches, collection agencies can leak your info, hard to tell how bad actors get private data. I have recvd lots of spam after dealing with collection agency named Commercial Trade

Change to only accept numbers in your directory. I've been doing this for about 3 years now and it blocks numbers that aren't there!
