You should not answer or open messages, not even on WhatsApp. What you have to do when you receive a WhatsApp message is not to open it; instead, press on the photo or the text of the message, and a window will appear with the image or text and three icons below. Go to the one on the right, which is an 'i' for information. It will show you everything that comes with the message, and at the bottom, there is an option to block and report. Press that, block them, report them, and then delete the message. Because if you open even one WhatsApp message from them to read it, you will automatically start receiving calls and messages from all kinds of numbers. Don't fall into their game, don't follow them, don't read or open their messages, and they will stop bothering you. These are phone numbers from a call farm that will keep calling until someone answers. If you let them ring without answering, and you have Truecaller, it helps so that your phone doesn't ring at all. It's perfect because then they consider the line inactive and stop bothering you in a short time.
