I received a call from what appeared to be someone in my medical network. One of my doctors. when I answered the call the guy on the other end starts to tell me that I have been selected to receive a federal Subsidy. He said they select one person from each state. Once a year and I was selected. Immediately, I knew it was a scam, tried to get off the phone, but he kept engaging me stating that it's not a scam. he asked for my age I refused.Yes, me if I was in the state, I refused. as he knew that he was not going to get me with the scam today, he became belligerent and there was a shouting match on both sides. He eventually hung up. Today, my scam calls and an unknown numbers have greatly decreased
