They send me this text and the reference number is not mine

  SARS will send a text, as well as an email. They will also state a correspondence was created on the EFiling system. I have no proof, but this seems like a scam to me. Check for any notices on your EFiling account before doing anything else. Also, if you feel the need to call, rather call the number provided on the official web site, instead of a number on a random message.

  I also got an email from SARS BUT ON A PRIVATE EMAIL ADDRESS. I PHONED THEM AND THD KIND LADY LOOKED INTO MY PROFILE AND I DON'T OWE THEM A CENT. IT'S PEOPLE WORKING IN SARS THAT ARE USING THEIR PRIVATE EMAIL ADDRESS TO SCAM THE PEOPLE. PHONE SARS OR LET THEM CALL YOU BACK

  SARS contact number is a toll free ***. SARS doesn't use debt collectors.
