Unauthorized COD Scam – ₹799 Paid
I received an unexpected COD parcel through Delhivery that nobody in my family had ordered or authorized. A family member accepted the parcel because they believed another family member had placed the order. We paid ₹799 in cash to the delivery person. The shipment was associated with AWB 26884419038256 and Order No. OJ#5714. The shipment description showed "Kapoor Bar skin glowing face wash (Buy 1 Get 1 Free)", but the actual product inside was a different product labelled "Charcoal Mask Cream" with Chinese and Korean text. I have reported the matter to Delhivery and the National Consumer Helpline and am requesting an investigation and refund of the ₹799 paid. I am sharing this experience to warn others about unexpected COD parcels. Do not accept or pay for a COD package unless someone in your household can confirm that they actually placed the order.

Actually this scam is done by payment gateway autorities.. they sell our address data to scam companies. I also received such parcel twice from Ekart and Delhivery few months ago. Bymistakenly ,I accepted it. Thought I had ordered someday 🤧 These companies try to sell products by placing COD orders to every address they got from payment gateway companies. Now since you have received the product. Some other unknown brand will send you COD order. So, cancel it when courier guy calls you.
