I want to share my experience and alert others about an issue involving a UPI payment. Transaction Details Amount Sent: Rs 4500 Transaction Date: 12 October 2026 Transaction Time: 11 20 AM Transaction [TXN_ID] Number: [REF] Recipient UPI ID: [UPI] Payment App: Slice Reported Recipient Details Bank Name: Bank of India Reported Bank Account Number: 602018210007192 Reported Linked Mobile Number: [PHONE] WhatsApp Number Shared in a Group: [PHONE] The WhatsApp number shared in the group is reportedly not linked to the recipient UPI account. The transaction was successful, and I am trying to get the issue resolved through the appropriate banking and cybercrime complaint channels. If anyone recognizes this UPI ID or has experienced a similar issue, please share advice on the proper procedure to report the transaction and request recovery of the money. Please be careful when transferring money to unknown UPI IDs. Always verify the recipient details before making a payment. I request everyone to stay alert and help spread awareness about safe online payments.
