  This is something called social engineering, a well-known method in cybersecurity. Definitely, as usual, I advise ignoring any strange number and resisting the temptation of curiosity to respond.. meaning we consider any strange number a potential threat with bad intentions until proven otherwise. God willing, all will be well.
