Scam numbers

I am still a minor, and recently I started receiving calls from several strange numbers. My mother always tells me not to answer. When I downloaded the Truecaller app, I discovered that these numbers were from foreign nationalities. I blocked them all, and the calls stopped. One day, my younger friend called me because a man had called her and started threatening her with her pictures and saying many sexual things. She came to me trembling and very scared... Could this be one of the numbers that used to call me?
