Beware

Beware of this number. The owner called me claiming to be from the regional gendarmerie unit of the National Gendarmerie in Algiers. He said they arrested a person with hallucinogenic pills and found my phone SIM card and documents, including my ID card and gold card, and that I am accused along with the man. When I told him my documents are with me, he asked me to read out the serial numbers of the two cards to prove to him that my papers are with me and that the ones he has are forged. I told him I would go to the nearest National Gendarmerie unit to verify the matter, and he immediately hung up. So beware of these scams and report them.
