A call was received from this number claiming to be from the customer service of Banque Misr, requesting to issue a new Banque Misr Visa card. They asked to photograph the old card, front and back, and send it to them. Naturally and logically, the employee did not ask for any personal card details, and if it was truly a bank customer service employee, the call would have come from the number 19888. The Banque Misr customer service team was contacted and the account was frozen. A report was made against this number. Please block it.تم الاتصال من هذا الرقم علي أنه مدعي من خدمه عملاء بنك مصر ويحتاج لاستخراج لي كارت جديد فيزا بنك مصر تم الطلب بتصوير الكارت القديم وجه وظهر وإرساله ليه من الطبيعي والمنطقي أن الموظف لم يطلب منك اي بيانات شخصيه عن الكارت وان كان من موظف خدمه عملاء البنك فعلا لكان الاتصال من رقم 19888 تم التواصل مع فريق خدمه عملاء بنك مصر وتم تجميد الحساب تم عمل بلاغ بهذا الرقم يرجي الحظر

why would a bank need Trucaller gold and the bank number is written on the back of your card so if you got any call from another number pretending that this is the bank number then you have your card just look for a hotline or a phone number on its back

As soon as I saw Truecaller Gold, I immediately knew it was a scammer. Besides, Bank of Egypt or any bank uses a short number. Thank you very much for warning everyone.
