I was looking for a rental apartment and found a woman I had asked about an apartment some time ago. She contacted me yesterday and said she had an apartment, then sent me the details which looked great. She told me I had to come see it immediately because Sudanese people don't leave apartments available. I actually went down and saw the apartment and said it was wonderful, a blessing from God. She told me I had to confirm my commitment, so I told her I'd send 500 EGP. She said no, 1000 EGP. I agreed and sent it. There was a fridge in the apartment and she said she was selling it. I asked if I could take it, she said 5000 EGP and I also had to send a deposit to show seriousness about buying it. I sent her 1000 EGP. After all this happened, I started to realize and deleted her number. I checked Truecaller and found out she is a scammer. Until now, she keeps calling me to send the rest of the fridge's price, and I am just running after her. I was supposed to sign the apartment contract with her on Thursday.
