Truecaller Community Guidelines for Call Reason

1. Truecaller Call Reason UI allows you to set a reason (by way of messages or emojis) when you are calling other users. The reason message set up by you will appear on recipient’s In Call UI screen when you call them.
2. You can choose to remove or modify the reason message as and when required through Call Reason UI features
3. We are working on adding a toggle for Call Reason UI feature in the Truecaller Privacy Centre which will be available soon.
4. We aim to provide a safe and enjoyable experience to our users. You should respect other people’s privacy, beliefs, interests while setting up the reason message. You should refrain from setting up reason message which are rude or abusive to the Truecaller user community.
5. You should refrain from including reason emojis or message that may potentially breach copyrights of third parties. You should be solely liable for sharing or sending any such questionable or infringing reason emojis, or message.
6. You should refrain from uploading any reason emoji or message that are obscene, promote any hate propaganda, contain sensitive or pornographic content, contain any personal information of the individual or a third party and any other content that may be construed as illegal.
7. We aim to facilitate the business and general communication among the Truecaller user community.
8. We do not tolerate illegal activities, and this may result in you being banned from the Truecaller application and/or being reported to the authorities.
9. Call Reason messages and emojis is to only promote healthy business and communications between individuals, and you should refrain from using this feature as a marketplace for selling anything.
10. Any breach of the community guidelines or applicable terms of services and privacy policy may result in you being banned from using the application.
