The caller claimed that our electricity connection would be disconnected, which created a panic situation. During the conversation, I shared my transaction mobile number. However, when I asked for the bill amount, the caller insisted that I download an app/file. At that point, we realized it was a fraudulent call and a scam. Kindly stay alert and be cautious, as electricity bill scams are increasing these days. Do not share your personal or banking information with unknown callers."
