landlord scam or not 850-669-6128

Once the $550 security deposit is made, we’ll move forward with processing everything and schedule an in-person tour of the apartment before your preferred move-in date of 6/29. This way you’ll get a proper feel of the place and be fully comfortable that you’re choosing the right option. Let me know if you’d like to go ahead. Mr Raju [PHONE]

I almost got snookered into one of those "deals" last year. When he became adamant and almost threatening about the $$s I spent some time doing a bit more research. I decided it was either a squatter set up(stolen property) or an out and out theft of resources. When I questioned him about an in person meet prior to $$s he put off responding and then sent me a msg that I was too difficult to be a tenant.

Seriously? You can't tell if it's a scam or not? Rule number 1 of their asking for money up front it's always a scam! Listen if your searching for a new living situation in the town your in, for the love of (YAHUAH *** God) please got to the domicile and look at it first, jeesh! Then if you have agreed with the Landlord/Manager then you can discuss the rental agreement and money but not before.

SCAM! You should not be paying any Money before seeing the apartment in person, the fact that they're asking for a deposit before you can even schedule an in person view is beyond ridiculous! DO NOT pay them any $$ before seeing this place in person and bring a friend or 2 with you.

they shouldn't ask for a deposit ubtil you agree to move in. that's unheard. if assume it's a scam if they refuse to show the place without a deposit. also, "Mr Raju" sounds like a made up scammer name...
