[PHONE] Scam on trading help me
Subject: Complaint regarding fraudulent trading advice, misrepresentation of SEBI association, and request for investigation Respected Sir/Madam, I would like to lodge a formal complaint against certain individuals/company who contacted me and claimed that they provide trading advice and are associated with a SEBI-registered company. Trusting these representations, I followed their instructions and invested money in trading. Based on their trading calls, I suffered a loss of approximately ₹45,000. Subsequently, I was asked to transfer ₹11,000 to a personal bank account, with the assurance that my losses would be recovered and that I would receive an additional profit of around ₹12,000–₹13,000. However, after receiving the amount, the person refused to return the money. When I repeatedly requested the return of my ₹11,000, they declined. I then filed a complaint through the cyber crime portal. After this complaint, they contacted me and initially suggested a settlement. Later, they refused and asked their lawyer to communicate with me. During our conversations, they made contradictory statements. On one hand, they claimed that the person who provided trading advice was a third party whom they do not know. On the other hand, they stated that they had removed that person from their company, which clearly contradicts their earlier claim. I possess chat records, transaction proofs, and other supporting evidence showing the communication regarding trading advice and payment requests. Although the individual has now logged out of WhatsApp, all relevant chat screenshots and records are safely preserved with me. I would also like to inform that I have the active contact numbers of the persons involved, which are still operational. These numbers were used to communicate with me regarding trading advice and payment requests. I am ready to provide these numbers so that the concerned authorities may contact, verify, and trace the individuals involved during the investigation. As per the regulations of the Securities and Exchange Board of India, only SEBI-registered investment advisors or research analysts are authorized to provide trading advice. If these individuals are not registered, their actions of providing trading calls and collecting money from investors appear to be unlawful and misleading. Therefore, I respectfully request SEBI to: Investigate the individuals/company involved in this matter. Take appropriate legal action for providing unauthorized trading advice and misleading investors. Help facilitate recovery of the ₹11,000 taken from me through a personal account and examine the losses caused due to their misleading trading calls. Take necessary steps to prevent such fraudulent activities and protect other investors. I am willing to provide all supporting documents and evidence, including chat screenshots, bank transaction records, and contact details, whenever required for the investigation. I kindly request your office to look into this matter and take appropriate action. Thanking you.
