You know you’re at a hackathon when it’s a room full of clicks of the keyboard, and geniuses hovered over computer screens racing against time to beat out 65 other teams. CodingWiz, which began in 2013, is a prized programming contest in Amman, Jordan, for students and recent graduates. It brings together the best programmers for a 4 hour competition that will involve lots of networking, and also to give their skills a boost by racing against the clock.

Our Jordanian Brand Ambassador, Mahmoud AL-Qadah, dropped in on the hackathon to bring some Truecaller cheer, a presentation about how Truecaller can benefit students, and also pass out goodies for the 320 participants.

They [the participants] all love Truecaller, and were so happy that we were there to support their efforts. Many students use Truecaller to stay connected with alumni students, and also to help their network for when they graduate.

Congratulations to the winner of the competition, PSUT (Princess Sumaya University for Technology)!
