i did checked with hong leong bank before , but they mentioned is the collection department. But i also wonder why they need the verification before they proceed to talk.

No BANK CALL WILL EVER MENTIONED THEY ARE CALLING FROM BANKS while you're been called n say their agent will attend you, obviously it's a SCAM, if bank call u, you answered, there will be someone to talk to you in 3 second, so this is FAKE!
