Not sure why so many people say this is a fake number, it definitely isnt. Yes they can be a nuisance but they only use this number if you have or have applied for cover on something. Added a new policy with them today so have confirmed genuine.

This is a spam caller. D&G have confirmed that this number has nothing to do with them and BT has informed me that this number is invalid and likely to be a spoofed number

This caller, falsely registered as "Domestic And General" kept calling me. They called me probably 6-7 times in the last couple of weeks. Today, I answered the call, assuming that it could be a genuine call. However, the caller disconnected the call as soon as I picked up. They are 100% scammers.

Scam number keeps calling.. stating they are D&G trying to offer taking out a policy..BEWARE..Called the real D&G and they do not recognise this number as one of their numbers.. SCAMMERS..

This does seem to be D&G as the representative knew I had a policy on a tumble dryer, but they're just trying to sell further policies. He wanted me to confirm my name etc. I refused telling him *he rang me* and I didn't ask for the call. He hung up.

Had multiple phonecalls. Never answered one but did search the number. I rang domestic and general and they can't link the phone number to any department. They've now opened an investigation. When D&G fo ring me it always comes up with their number and name. Do not answer
