It's EE marketing but still it's a SCAM. They offered me to switch from pay as you go to a contract, which was a really good offer, told them I'll think about it. Later I found myself locked in a 24 month contract that I never asked for! DON'T FALL FOR THEM, DON'T ANSWER.
