This phone # is the CHASE Bank 'Account restrictions department'. If somebody called you from this number, yes, it is possible that this ph.# may have been 'spoofed' , but that does not make this number a scam.

This is the legitimate phone # for the Chase Fraud dept. Don’t understand why people are having trouble unless a scammer was able to spoof the #. The same dept works on check verification issues, and other routine matters, as well.
